Rnegade Detailing

Rnegade Detailing was founded in 2015 after Rob spent a few years prior working within the Peter Kittle and Smith Motor Group companies and decided to take on the challenge of starting his own business to offer a broader range of services and level of care to his growing clients. Now with about 10 years of experience, Rob is training and supporting his growing team.

Originally starting in Whyalla, SA, upon moving back to the Adelaide Hills the business was reset and it all began again where the task of setting up and growing the business to the point it is now at. Honestly, the growth and success has been a bit surprising and certainly not taken for granted.

Rob is now close 40 years old, born in Whyalla, SA and has spent his teenage and adult life in the Adelaide Hills. Married to Charmaine in November 2019 and has 6 children thanks to the 2 blended families (both of them have 3 children each) ranging from11to 17years old and have now added Oakley, their Australian Shepard to the house who often joins the workforce as site supervisor, quality control or a very cute distraction.

Rob has had many different job experiences in life, however none of them were offering the sense of fulfilment, enjoyment, results and satisfaction that he found when he started detailing. The challenges that each client and their vehicle offers keep the challenge alive along with constant industry and product developments to learn and experience.

Rob loves to be outdoors where possible, recently getting into enduro mountain biking and still loving camping, fishing, 4wheel driving and exploring either by himself enjoying the quiet times or with the family who all enjoy the experience.

Rnegade Detailing prides itself on offering a client & vehicle first focused solution. Spending the time with each prospective client to find out what their needs and expectations are to make sure they get the service and attention to detail that their vehicle needs.

Client education is a key part in the business to make sure they are getting the best value for services knowing what products are being used, why they are being used, techniques that will help them in the long run to maintain or prevent damage occurring. Providing a detailing service is not enough, helping the client understand why we do what we do is just as important.

Genuine service that does not “upsell” a product or service to help the bottom line, but rather to help the client and their vehicle is far more important.

Finding solutions to problems is critical, whether it is involving the vehicle's needs, client's location restraints, time frame required or anything else that appears-we strive to find a solution to service the clients to the best of our abilities.

Staying away, seeing through and not getting caught up in the hype and buzz words that the industry has around new products and services, staying true to client 1st focus and only offering services and products that have the client's needs as the priority.
